Tips to prepare your pool for summer

With the arrival of summer, it’s time to prepare a part of your home that you certainly love to enjoy with the rising temperatures: your pool.

To make the most of this part of your house, you must not forget that there are many cares and details that will bring you the best experience possible. So, we leave you here 3 essential tips that will help you enjoy a good time at your pool, in the best way you can.

1 - Use the right tools to maintain it clean

To begin with, try to keep your pool as clean as possible. Use a net to remove as much superficial debris from your pool as possible, such as leaves and insects that have accumulated over the time you haven’t used your pool.

Then, use a hoover to remove all the rubbish that has accumulated over the time in the bottom of your pool area.

Finally, use a brush and the right cleaning products, to leave the edges and tiles shining, so that the water looks as shiny as possible and you can see the bottom of your pool without any problem.

2- Do the regular water maintenance

In order for your pool water to be perfect for you to take your baths, you should regularly maintain it, that is, make sure that it keeps the ideal levels of chlorine and pH.

Chlorine is the item that keeps your pool protected against bacteria and algae, protecting your health, however if used in excess it can also harm your pool, so it is important to check the levels in your pool.

Another important factor is the pH level. This is a measurement scale to classify the type of water used, which can be analysed using specific kits. The pH level recommended by experts for pool water is between 7.2 and 7.6.

3- Prepare the exterior

It is true that to use a pool, we only need to treat the pool area properly arranged.

But can you imagine having loungers to dry your body when you get out of the water, or have a barbecue next to it to enjoy a nice lunch with friends? Maybe even put some lighting around the pool (or inside it) to improve the atmosphere, or some hats to protect yourself from the sun?

These are all extras that will certainly enhance your experience and make you make the most of your time in your pool!
